program.exe message when booting Thursday, November 28, 2002 at 6:39 am Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by andrew (2 messages posted) when I start my computer I get the already discussed "windows cannot find program.exe" pop-up. It happens every time I boot and ever since I last defragged my hard drives. It also tells me that it needs this file to open dat. files. Tried to install a demo that uses dat. files and have had no luck (have successfully used this demo before). How do I get rid of it?
