What about beeps just after power up? If no beeps, I'm betting on CPU bad or not
seated correctly. If one beep, then bad connection in video cable. If more than
one beep, then it's bad video card or bad memory or bad other device. The manual
for the motherboard should tell you the meaning of the beeps. And as it is a P4
CPU, check about the power supply - I'm not familiar with it but understand sometimes
you have to use a supplemental power lead - again check the manual.
