I admire your eagerness, but some of your tips are impossible in win98. The dial up indicator only works for dial-up not lan, and there's nothing on the windows98 resource kit of any sort even close. The only thing I've ever found like it is here.. http://www.dalesplace.net/download/lanlight.htm but it hardly works the same, no quick access to the lan settings, just an indicator.
