Tools/Internet Options not available Monday, December 15, 2003 at 8:16 pm Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by cheeesehead (1 messages posted) This problem I've had for years and just never got around to investigating. 4 years ago I bought a computer from a major reputable computer store. It came with Windows 98 installed and the registered windows 98 CD with it. When using Internet Explorer 5.0, I try to access Tools/Internet Options and all I get is a "Restrictions" window that says, 'This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator.' I expect I should get a set of tabs with choices, but cannot get there. My internet service provider referred me to this site. Anybody help?
