I went to Windows Update site and downloaded the critical updates and driver updates. When computer rebooted I got the following message on the "Dial-up Connection screen": Failed to Connect to remote computer. No dial tone. I went to "Connections" screen and all was normal. I deleted and reinstalled my ISP data but still no dial tone. What can I do to get it back? The computer is an HP n3250 laptop with Win98 SE. IE6.0 and all current.
