I was on line downloading the updates and when the computer rebooted immediately after downloading, the computer would not dial out. There were no dialing out tones to be heard. There was/is only one connection and it did not change at all that I can tell. I did reinstall all the ISP data manually but to no avail. Apparently the computer is not sensing a phone line connection and is refusing to dial out. I hooked up another phone to that line and it is live, so no problem there. I tried several times to manually connect but no luck.
