I use bigplanet.com which has no software (no browser) it just has email and lets you choose your own start page, etc. I downloaded and installed a new driver from online, but still get the "no dial tone" message. I went to the modem "properties_advanced_log files" and saw file from dial-up attempt. It shows "no dial tone". I did just download DirectX 9.0! I notice that it said that it could not be deleted. I wonder what I can do now?
