Can you hear the drive being accessed? If it's silent and the green light doesn't
come on, you may have to replace it if possible. You can try to flash the BIOS with
an updated Flash Bios file from the manufacter. It could just be dirty and something
is sticking inside not allowing the head to read the drive. Try purchasing a cleaning
disk. There are air cans you can purchase as I don't recommend blowing into the
drive because of the moisture in exhaled air.
