I exchanged his hdd for my two and booted up. I had a problem finding drivers for all the hardware but acheived this eventually, but... after I had installed the drivers for the PCI multimedia device (nvidia mcp2-audio codec interface), each time I re-started the computer before I even got to the desktop there was a Fatal Exception OD (at 0028:c00598BC in VXD VMCPD(01)+0000035C)... Well I finally worked out that I needed to uninstall this particular driver - nforce 4.27 - so now I am not recieving the fatal exception but I still have no sound... I hope that this all makes sense, and I would be rally grateful if someone could help me, thanks Do what you like, but remember, like what you do!
