It just dawned on me that you said you have USB ver 1.1 AND 2.0??? If so and this is a newer motherboard, it should probably have XP.. Win 98 is probably to old to support the motherboard and provide the correct drivers, DMA driver being just one of them. That will severly slow down your data transfer speeds... Otherwise, not sure what you might have meant by two different USB devices.. In any event, you need to do a clean install of XP, NOT an upgrade over Win 98 for best results.. Good Luck!
