Go to run type in msconfig in the window and you will see a screen pop up called misconfiguration utility...chosse the start up tab,....you will see a list of programs int he window..find the program that is starting up and remove the check box..that will keep that program from starting up every time you start up your computer..unless you start up the program your self...this is called the selective start up utility..I hope I have helped you..I have been doing this for ever.,...then your computer Will automatically reboot or ask you to if you want to start up you computer ...when it comes back on you will get a box come on the desk top and put a check mark in don not use system configuration every time you restart up you computer..if you don't put a check mark in this box ..the selective startup will come up everytime you re boot your computer and that would be anoying...
