Upgrading to Win2000 or......? Monday, July 31, 2006 at 1:22 am Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by John (2 messages posted) I gather that Win 98 (mines not even 2nd ed) is to be dropped from the update support from MS and the likes of Zone Alarm. I guess its time to upgrade although for my purposes a basic system has always been fine.Would Win 2000 be a good choice or do I have to make a quantum leap. I havent the faintest idea if upgrading is difficult. So Im asking your advice on what is the simpleast upgrade and how I go about the actual upgrading. My Computer is basic ,5 years old and 512K... . I really dont want to spend out on a new one until this one begins to wheeze. thanks John.
