On your IE toolbar, go to Tools > Internet Options > Connections > LAN settings,
make sure Automatically Detect Settings is checkmarked. Then click the Programs
tab in Internet Options and click Reset Web Settings.
If that doesn't work, use another browser like Firefox or Opera, to see if the problem
persists. If another browser works fine [Opera is especially fast], then you might
want to download additional anti-malware tools to make sure nothing is interfering
with or has hijacked your IE. Suggested downloads should include: CWShredder, Spybot,
Spyware Blaster, all free, and A-squared from www.emsisoft.com [the Free version,
not the Personal, unless you want to buy the Personal].
