Additional Information:
I searched for Micron BIOS Passwords on the internet and came up with two: "sldkj754"
and "xyzall" Neither of which worked, I also e-mailed Micron Tech Support who replied
with the following: “The J8B1 clears the CMOS. What you do with both is move it to
the 2-3 setting to clear each. If you want to clear the Password, set the J8B2 jumper
to the 2-3 portion and then power on for 10 seconds, then turn back off, and reset
the jumper to the 1-2 position. If you need to clear the CMOS settings, the J8B1
needs to be set to the 2-3 setting, turned on for 10 seconds and then turned off,
and set back to the 1-2 setting.”
What need to be done was to change the jumper setting as indicated and let the system
completely power up, this will automatically take you to the BIOS Setup Screen where
you can clear all passwords or change the configuration if need be. Once the changes
have been made the jumper setting will need to be returned to allow for standard
operation of the computer. I am now however back to where I was prior to replacing
the CMOS battery with a blank screen and the words “No Operating System Found”
