Thanks or that info. When mouse freezes I assume it is the boot itself stopping. Alt-Cntrl-Delete will not reboot, no commands work. Will try the mouse change but have doubts. Unsure how to shut this off with run. Already have taken ALL things out of Start Up in msconfig to get this far........including ALL Norton on top of Ghost. Thought the Ghost path a bit odd myself. So there is NO NEED to have a SET path on boot? Removing all the BS in start up makes boot faster of course but the freezing issue has me stumped. Once past that. PC runs fine for long periods. thanks
