Hey. In addition, when U in setup - Go 2 HDD auto detection & C if the BIOS (setup) recognizes the HD (data appears on the 1st row about the HD or in some other way depending on the motherboard type). If it doesn't, could B either HD (most likely) or motherboard. If it does, the problem is in the HD. U can try reformatting & reinstalling Win98. If not working after that, It is a hardware malfunction. Hope your personal files R already backed up. Good luck.
