If you are using Incredimal, you aren't storing your messages in the OE format.
You really aren't using OE at all. Incredimail takes over as a seperate email client
and imports/converts your messages, settings and setup into it's own proprietary
format. You need to contact Incredimail's support (or look for online help) to see
what you have to do to move your subscription to a new machine, and move your email
stores and address book over to the new machine. It's not as easy as moving the
OE mail and address book from one Windows install to another. That's why my wife
quit using Incredimail several years ago.
Trying to retrieve and restore it after a crash was all but impossible.. Unless
you are actually using Incredimail AND using OE to keep your messages in two seperate
email formats, you aren't storing email in OE's native format.
If you are only using Incredimail to send and receive messages, you will only be
able to use Incredimail's procedures for moving your subscription/program, email
and address book to your new machine. You will need Incredimail's help to do that
in my experience.
