A thorough up-to-date virus scan has already been done. It found some things and
completely removed them.
A spyware check has also been done. All it found was cookies.
When doing "ctrl+alt+delete" the running tasks are:
explorer
mediadet
teatimer
ctnotify
loadqm
point32
stimon
systray
ashwebsv
RAM 512 megs SD-RAM
PIII 450 MHZ processor (full pentium)
2 GB free on Hard Drive
Thorough ScanDisk has been run, Defrag has been run, Internet Explorer 6.0 has been
reinstalled, unnecessesary windows components and other programs have been uninstalled.
None of this has helped. There is still a lag.
Thanks.
