Sorry about that. When I purchased my Gateway computer it came with 2 disks. System restoration CD and Operating system backup CD. Now it says on the on the Operating System CD, to reinstall your operating system to insert the system restoration CD in theCD drive and restart computer. When I do this I get nothing from the disk. Windows comes up normal. I want to renstall my operating system. My question is why does the disk not run when I put it in the CDdrive and restart the computer? Thanks for the other links. A lot of good info for me. Larry
