You may need to install either an internal or external USB 2.0 card/ Hub to get this
to work at USB2.0 speed. The real advantage is the Additional USB ports available
after you nstall the hardware.

If you decide to do this be sure the New hardware has self powered USB ports available
for additional USB devices.
