desktop click opens menu Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at 4:39 pm Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by freakybeavis (4 messages posted) Not a serious problem but thoroughly annoying anyway, when I single click anywhere on the desktop, the start menu opens up as if I had clicked the start button. Why is this and how do I correct it? I had the problem from time to time before on a different computer and was able to correct it by right clicking desktop and selecting active desktop/view as webpage and update now. That however has no effect this time. Anyone know how to correct this?
