Well I don't know where CDSTART.EXE comes from I don't have it and both of my CD
Roms work ok. Who's sound card do you have fitted? Maybe its a program for that.
Just do an hard drive search for CDSTART.EXE and when it finds it just right-click
on CDSTART.EXE and select Properties and read or copy what it says in the
Version tab. It will normally say which company made it and what its used for.
