Hi freakybeavis.
I've had the same problem for 12 months or more. If your in Explorer and your left
click on a file the right click popup menu shows. I have to go to the desktop and
just right click on it to bring up the menu the at ok for a few weeks.
I recon its something to do with Internet Explorer. When I use to use IE5.0 everything
worked without an hickup. When I updated to IE5.5 when I was in Explorer my CD Rom
drive letter would change to W:, at the time I only had one CD Rom which was D: I
could easily correct this by just pressing F5 Refresh.
Then I moved up to IE6.0 and bought another CD Rom. When I put a CD in the second
drive E: I used to get two E: drive showing and the same goes for D:. But this time
I press F5 and nothing happens it still shows two drives for the same letter. You
have to exit Explorer and go back in to clear it. The SP1 update does the same.
Are you an IE user or something else?
Now I know when gewg_ reads this he will be telling you and me to use a different
browser, FireFox or Opera because he hates Windozes and anything to do with Microsoft.
