AVG and JS/Downloader virus

Greetings:
AVG will not be supporting Windows98 as the end of the year. Does anyone know of
a Virus program that will support our operating system in 2009? Right now I have
a virus JS/Downloader which has 4 files connected to it. One of them couldn't be
healed, all are in the Virus Vault. This is the first virus I've ever had on my
computer. Question is when AVG stops support what will happen with the virus? Any
help or response will be greatly appreciated.
