I bought a ibook when OS X first came out. The motherboard died a couple weeks out
of Warranty. I really wasn't impressed enough with OS X though so I didn't buy another
one. I actually don't use AV software on My Windows Computers. Virus's are easy to
avoid once you know they are out there. The weak link in Windows is Internet Explorer,
and Outlook Express. They are the Virus Magnets. Don't use them, and the rest of
the Virus avoidance is easy with some pretty simple safe Computing Habits.
