I'm slightly disappointed learning I have too much RAM. Would love a free copy of Ubuntu. Downloaded a copy of the ISO, burned as boot-able CD, and tried to install but won't run in DOS environment!!! burned again. Works great on my XP machine, but can't get Ubuntu from there to my "problem child" machine. Got any ideas on getting a copy of any Linux dist. that I can install from a DOS environment? I'm new to Linux so simple explanation of what I need to do and where to go, if you know, would be helpful. Will check out the work-a-rounds and see if something can be figured out.
