This problem just happened once the computer loaded to the desktop. A few days ago, the screen just faded to a really dull black colour, now the only way to see the screen is to shine a really bright lamp onto the screen. Is this a sign of faulty graphic card drivers or a slowly dieing lcd panel. ??? I've then viewed the hardware in device manager to find no problem / software seems to detect that it is running with the same driver installed long ago. Other Control Panel settings have been played around with and wont help with brightening up the screen contrast or colour or whatever it may be... If you need additional information, i'll be glad to reply.
