I am using the original disc that Compaq provided with the computer when I bought it in 1998. So I am dealing with a very early version of Win 98. I've tried to install XP Professional on it, but I get errors with that. My plan was to get a good Win 98 install and then load a XP Home upgrade. So far, I am stuck with the Win 98 issues. I have even swapped out the "big foot" hard drive for a 20 gig hard drive and bumped the RAM up over 700 MBs. So I think I have enough for XP. I just cant get past the WIN 98 issues.
