Error: Win ASPI ?.? missing Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at 9:48 am Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Rich (5 messages posted) I suddenly encountered this error on my old PC - Nero 6 Express wouldn't burn a disc anymore. After some web searching, I tried the suggestions (Annoyances.org Win ME forum) to replace wnaspi32.dll and an aspi file in Windows/System/Iosubsys. These altered the error, but not the result. Apparently, on my machine, it was the SYSTEM version of win ASPI that was missing, not the Nero part. Running it put fresh versions of the files on my Win 98SE machine, and Nero then worked normally again.
