As I said, the command placed in the AUTOEXEC.BAT file was an OPTION, it was up to 
the user whether to have it or not.

I guess McAfee figured by including a line in the AUTOEXEC.BAT file, the user would 
be able to remove an infection from their system from DOS in the event Windoze would 
not boot.
