IBM Net Vista with98SE and shipped with 98SE. Desktop with 2 pc100 ram for total of 256 Megs ram. Fine for last 5 years with I.E. 6.0. Probably means nothing but problem occurred one day after after installing Firefox 2. xxx. I've since removed it in safe mode. Scanreg restore, no help. Been thru Google and the answers are all over the book. Problem. On bootup fails with the message.... "Memory parity error detected, system Halted". Any direction to go? Funny, system won't work with one strip, must have both slots filled. I did upgrade about 3 years ago from 128 to 256. ' Jack....
