When I try to bring up secondary boxes to pop up from a transaction or information from a link, these secondary boxes don't come up. Has anyone had that problem? This is from ie6....

This may sound irrelevant but bear with me.

My firewall, Outpost, has a popup blocker that I first turned off, then removed. There are a bunch of products now that overlap in so-called helpfulness, like deleting my cookies, &c, &c, often w/o telling me. The point is, could something you have installed have a popup blocker? AOL advertises that it has a popup blocker. Could your ISP be giving you helpful trouble?

This problem can happen if you have Javascript disabled in your browser. Some websites
use Javascript to open such links.

SKIPC,
I'm betting if you feed the URL of the original page
into the WorldWide Web Consortium's HTML Validator,
http://validator.w3.org/
you will get an appreciation of how lousy a developer the webmaster there is:
http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http://www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/win98

This is the kind of return you SHOULD get from a page check:
http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http://www.webpagesthatsuck.com/

I suggest you drop a note to webmaster@CrappyWebsite.com
noting his deficiencies and suggesting that he start doing a better job.
Pass on to him a link to the Validator.
