Next time you want software, look at the REQUIREMENTS listed.
If it doesn't EXPLICITLY say Windows 98, it WON'T work on your box.

Abandon that regfix application. See above.

Have you tried the tools Windoze **already** has?
http://google.com/search?q=site:annoyances.org+DOS+"scanreg-fix"
Did you even try the most basic of fixes?
http://google.com/search?q=site:annoyances.org+DOS+"scanreg-restore"+"5-days"

Well you can get Shell32.dll of the Win98 CD. Just use WinZip to open each *.cab
file and search for it.
I bet you don't have the Win98 CD do you. What you could do is a search for Shell32.dll
on your drive. Open Windows Explorer and press F3 to search. You might find it in
C:\Windows\Sysbackup folder as a spare. If you find it just copy and paste it back
into your Windows\System folder.
If that fails then you you do a web search for this file to download you will need
the Win98 version as they are all different on different operating systems.

Truly clueless.
The app is calling a particular API that doesn't exist in the Win9x version.
It would be good if you would read the other posts in the thread
and click the links **BEFORE** spouting gibberish.

I didn't insult anyone.
When I insult someone, it's very clear he's been insulted, mental midget.
