Friend had similar problem & after I went through IE repair, the problem was fixed.
process:- START/SETTINGS/CONTROL PANEL/ADD,REMOVE PROGRAMS/MICROSOFT INTERNET EXPLORER
....AND INTERNET TOOLS/ADD,REMOVE/REPAIR & then reboot.
