Modem Drivers in Me Thursday, October 28, 2004 at 12:06 pm Windows Me Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Kevin (2 messages posted) I recently had to format my harddrive which had a copy of Win 98. I was lent a copy of Windows ME to install on my blank harddrive. Apparently, the modem that came stock on my HP did not have drivers in ME. I contacted HP and they sent me a link to the driver. I installed the driver on my computer, restarted it, but I still get the "The modem is not repsonding properly" error. Any Ideas? Thank you.
