No Mouse, only comes up in safe mode!!! Can you help please?

Hi, I am running Win Me on another PC, and I have lost the mouse, and the screen's
background went grey! Only in safe mode the mouse comes active again. I have tried
to delete the drivers, but with no success, I also installed another mouse, but just
the same, it does not show in normal mode! Can yo help please? Thank you
