Hi. Thanks for your comments. Firstly, there was no box labelled system restore in
the msconfig file to tick. I've even tried looking for the RSTRUI.EXE file but as
far as my computer is concerned it's never heard of that or statemgr. And there isn't
a restore file in my system folder. If you do a search for 'system restore' it comes
back with sod all. It prob was that uninstaller that caused the problem. As for the
panicware pop up stopper, I thought it may be a decent pop-up blocker. It had a high
enough popularity on download.com that I figured the herd has better instincts than
me in what's useful and whats not! To be honest this comp isn't used much and I've
never used system restore on it before. But now I don't have it I miss it. Thanks
for your comments tho.
