Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at 1:58 pm Windows Me Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Ricky (1 messages posted) I have two problems really but the first being the harddrive I recently brought, I had brought a 40GB harddrive and when I set it up it only gave me 6.97GB why is this? I am running windows ME and I do realise you never get the full amount as quoted on the box but I did expect more than 6.97GB out of 40GB, is there any way I can change the amount of disk space on my drive through windows? Windows didn't find the new hardware automatically I had to do it manually, is it a partition problem? Anyone who can give me some advice on this problem and how to sort out this problem would be greatly appreciated? Thanks for your help in advance and I look forward to hearing from you.
