You don't need to change any of those entries manually. First try this... in Internet
Options - Programs tab - click "Reset web settings" - Restore Internet Explorer defaults
- uncheck to also reset homepage. OK
That should solve both problems. If not, re-register these DLL files by doing the
following....
Start | Run then type: regsvr32 urlmon.dll Press Enter.
You should see a brief message the DLL has been successfully registered.
Do the same with the following, pressing enter after each:
regsvr32 Shdocvw.dll
regsvr32 Actxprxy.dll
regsvr32 Oleaut32.dll
regsvr32 Mshtml.dll
regsvr32 Browseui.dll
