If the hardware is supported by Win ME, you should be able to put in the new drive
with the already repaired install that you did on the old system. Then when you
start up, if there are driver issues, hopefully you can update drivers then. However,
it may be prudent to first try to install WIn ME clean on the new drive, in the new
system just to see if there will be issues. That may give you an idea of whether
bringing in the old updated system will work. Bottom line is that, if the repaired
system transfers into the new machine and starts up, it should discover the new hardware
and update if it has the drivers, or you have to wait until it's done and add them
manually if it doesn't ask for new drivers. That would allow you to avoid doing
another repair install once in the new machine.. Outside of that, sounds like you
have a pretty good handle on what needs to be done. Good Luck!! :-)
