Remembering last download location Saturday, June 7, 2008 at 6:59 am Windows Me Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by jspstorm (1 messages posted) Hey, I've just installed winME, set it up and everything, and deleted the My Documents icon from the desktop. I noticed that My Documents disappeared from save dialogs and firefox/ie both stopped remembering that the last folder downloaded to is My Documents\Downloads, and any saving images or links does the same. I added My Documents to desktop again by dragging My Documents to desktop, winME corrected me, saying it will place a shortcut there, and the shortcut doesn't have a normal shortcut arrow, so it did so correctly, and My Documents reappeared in save dialogs, but firefox and ie still refuse to remember My Documents or any folder contained in it as the last downloaded location!
