That's an old drive with a bad history. I'm surprised it is still running. It's
probably having media failure as was consistent with it's history. I would back
up any data you want to save and replace it. OTH, Spinrite 6 may be able to do a
temporery repair if it is losing data (but don't count on it). Then it is time to
get your data off of it and replace it. Problem is, will your motherboard properly
support the large drives made today??
