on my me machine I also had no card and went to my walmart and purchased a $14.00
card. It says it works with all windows. For 95,98, 98SE, Me and 2000 you have to
install the driver via floppy disc which comes with card. Unplugged machine, put
in card, started machine insert floppy disc and bingo it loaded driver and I am connected
to net. With xp and vista it will automatically find hardware and install drivers.
hope this helps
