Can't Get Internet Connection On ME Box

I have an ME box that didn't come with a nic card. The DSL modem has a USB connection,
but I couldn't get a connection with it. I figured it just didn't work with ME so
bought a nic card. I have a Linksys LNE100TX. I found and installed the drivers.
Both lights on the card are on. But I still can't get an internet connection. Any
help would be appreciated.
