Most PCI sound cards are better quality then the Sound built into a motherboard, and Windows ME does work better with 512 mges of ram.

Your Computer is old enough though that I wouldn't waste to much money on upgrades. Gamers don't use Win ME, infact probably just a few dozen ME users worldwide anymore.:)

I still got my old ME Computer, but it is just used for my business files, and gets about 30 minutes use a Day.
