Hi Doyle,
IE Q903235 and IE Q916281 are only security updates, sometimes called patches, that
are installed into Internet Explorer in order to cure some perceived security defect
that it suffers from.
If I understand your post correctly, you seem to think that each is a new, separate
installation of Internet Explorer. That is not the case. A patch is a very small
add-on; and there have been hundreds of them released over the years, to cure various
faults in Internet Explorer.
No, Outlook Express is NOT a part of Internet Explorer. It is a separate program.
They both depend on certain aspects of Windows Explorer, as in a sense do all programs
that run under Windows ME/98/95/XP, etc. But OE is a separate program from IE.
No, you can't regain any disk space. And it would be dangerous for you to try. Buy
and install a second hard disk if you are short on disk space. Don't uninstall security
patches, they are designed to protect you while you are on-line.
