It wasn't that I lacked the skills to make ME work, I preferred it over W98 despite 
it's poor reliability and used it for a couple of years before making the switch 
to XP It is not just my opinion; it is well documented that any system built on top 
of DOS is significantly less reliable than any version of NT. You forget that I managed 
nearly 500 PCs, most of them went through the series of upgrades from W95 to XP. 
Multiple daily reboots were typical on those computers, while XP went for weeks without 
reboots. ME does indeed run beautifully right after it's loaded, unfortunately it 
needs to be reloaded about every six months. W2K and XP can run for years without 
a re-install, and still be just as fast and reliable as the day it was installed.
