i am trying to connect a win me pc to a network which inclides a pc with xp pro and
1 with xp home. i am conected to a 2wire dsl router modem i am using a usb netgear
adapter on the w/me pc, a ethernet on w/home, and wirless on xppro..this configuration
worked once then the w/me started locking up when i would restart the pc and the
netgear software. i tried to uninstallll and reinstalll and now it says it i am
connected to the router but it will not get on the net. i have tried typing in the
ip address in ie, i am at my wits end i know it is something silly as it worked fine
until i tried to reinstall. i also get a error message that says netgear_ raw sockets
on startup or if i activate the settings in the netgear software . please help
