Free online virus scan problem

My WinME Firefox browser machine has in the past
used Trend Micro with good results and satisfaction in
my virus scans. After a scan last week I decided to do
another one as advised to do one each week. This time
however, I get this message:
HouseCall is not available for your platform
You can not use Trend Micro HouseCall on your machine because your processor type
or your operating system are not supported.
I have tried everything to assure that I have the
same PC that I have used on every previous scan.
It seems that when Trend Micro starts checking for
requirements, a prompt appears that ask me to:
"Manually select or change the Housecall Kernel"
Although I have no idea what this means, I place a
check on the square that indicates that I agree with
the license agreement, which is what that is.
I do not get any options to choose a Kernel, but I
immediately get the message that I pasted above.
As I said, I have used Trend Micro repeatedly and as
recently as last week, I wonder if you guys have any
idea what is going on. I noticed at Google that people
seem to have problems with different error messages. So if you can give me a clue,
I will really
appreciate it.
My WinMe is an old machine and other free scans out
there require newer models, which for me is really
sucking at this time.
I hope that I posted this on the correct forum.
Thanks in advance.
