Ancien you are absolutely correct! I reply just now at
10:10 a.m Tues because as soon as you gave me the
tip of Trend Micro UK, I immediately went there. It
works perfectly. However being impatient as I am,
I clicked for results before the scan was terminated.
I wanted to save a log of the scan for my file and of
course I blew the chance with that click. I had to do
another scan and started that one at noon Monday.
I went to bed last night and left the scan running on
the third step of the scan, which would have given me
the prompt for the log at the end of the scan. This
morning Tues at 6 a.m. I found the scan still running.
My impatience again got the best of me. I turned it
off. Malware detected:"Mal_Puridl 2 infections"; Adw_
Clickspring.G 1 infection"...As I wrote earlier, I did
saved a log from my previous Trend Micro scan before I was denied access again. So
basically my old
log has the same results that I got today. I guess I
will have to run another scan at UK later.. Thanks for
the tip. I am confident that these infections are not
harmful, at least this is the information I get.I also
have the file name where the infections are, but I
do not know how to look it up and delete them. Maybe if you answer this message I
will give you the
names so you can walk me there. I have not intention of send my log to any one for
fixing, not that I distrust anyone, I just feel uncomfortable doing
that. Again, thanks ancien.
